What's In My Bag?

Babymoov, Changing Bag, whats in my bag

So, it's been a while since I did a What's In My Bag post, so thought I'd let you have a little nosey in my handbag.

Currently, my handbag is my changing bag, as it's what I carry round with me daily. It's a gorgeous bag from Babymoov. I love it as it's not so 'Mumsy' as your typical changing bag, it looks like a proper handbag and you could probably continue to use as a handbag afterwards.

Babymoov City Changing Bag in Black* (£79.99)

It is black leather-look material, with suede, with bronze accents and has a detachable strap that can be used over the shoulder or pushchair.

Inside is HUGE, and full of pockets!
It has a front pocket in which I keep the travel changing mat, my phone and keys. Inside has a further 3 different sized pockets as well as the spacious main storage area of the bag.

Let me show you what's inside...

whats in my bag

Purse
It's a River Island purse, I like RI purses as they're great quality and I love the size and amount of pockets they have and it's perfect for an everyday purse.

Travel First Aid Kit
This handy little kit* from Steroplast contains everything needed for minor accidents.

Nappies, Wipes & Sudocrem
Of course! For nappy changes on the go, plus the wipes are used for pretty much EVERYTHING!

Tissues

Suncream
A Factor 50 suncream for Taylor.

Socks
These are mine! :) A pair of socks come in handy if I'm wearing pumps or flip flops and need socks for something like Soft Play or bowling etc.

Water
I always carry a small bottle of water in my bag for filling up Taylor's beaker while we're out, or for any other reasons we may need water; cleaning cuts or grazes, cleaning dropped dummies etc.

Selfie Stick
Well, of course?!

Keys

Taylor's Red Book

Paracetamol

Strip Thermometer

Pencil

Snacks for Taylor

Spoon

The bag contains a little leather look 'dummy pocket' but I actually use it for some sachets of teething powder and Calpol.

whats in my bag

This fab little bag is a 'laundry bag' which is a great idea as keeps any spare clothes from getting messy in the main part of the bag. I rarely keep clothes in the bag as I find I never seem to use them and when I check, they no longer fit and perfectly good clothes went unworn so now and then, depending where we're going I'll pop in some spare clothes depending on the weather.

Instead, I use the bag to keep some of Mummy's make up in. The products shown in the picture are my essential MAC Studio Tech compact, a mirror, Vaseline, Maybelline Baby Lips, MAC Creme d'Nude lipstick & The Body Shop Honey lip balm.

  1. I'm such a minimalist sometimes lol...when Baby Boy was much smaller/younger, I kept a change of clothes or two, diapers, wipes, a thermometer, some cream, and a blanket or two. As he got older and needed different things, I mostly just kept clothes and diapers. We rarely really use a bag anymore, but I do keep one with extra diapers in the car for longer trips and outings! :)
