Beauty | Summer Fragrances

As Summer is upon us, I decided to share with you my favourite fragrances I'll be reaching for this season.

For me, a perfect summer fragrance has to be light, sweet, perfect for both hot summer days and warm summer nights.

Ted Baker Sweet Treat Purse Spray - Polly (£10.00-£15.00*) - 'This sweet floral aroma begins with juicy tones of mandarin, red berries and peach whilst the heart entwines white jasmine, honeysuckle and peony with shades of vanilla, amber, patchouli and white musk in the base.'

These purse sprays are fab, the perfect size to pop into my handbag or even a beach bag. I love how girly and sweet it smells; it mixes sweet and fruity tones with a little musk to make it a little more grown up. I can't stop wearing this, it really is delicious!! I love getting a whiff of it throughout the day and knowing I smell yummy!! :) Perfect for girly girls with a bit of a sweet tooth! I think it's a perfect fragrance for both summer days and nights! 

Stella McCartney Stella Summer EDT Spray (£33.99*) - 'Stella McCartney Stella Summer 2013 features top notes of Frozen Lemon and Green Apple, Rose and Peony Middle notes and Amber.'

This fragrance was released last summer and I heard so many good things about it, I popped it on my wish list and my boyfriend bought it for me for Christmas :). Ive been waiting excitedly for summer to wear it!! 
The packaging is bright and summery and makes me reach for it when the sunshine is shining first thing in the morning. It is a light, fresh scent that is a perfect daytime perfume. A more floral-y fragrance, it makes me think of summer days outside, picnics and days out in the park. 

Ted Baker Sweet Treat Purse Spray - Mia (£15.00) - 'A soft floral fragrance of rose blooms and freesias are combined with sparkling top notes of fresh lemon, raspberry and blackcurrant with a seductive base of warm patchouli and golden amber.'

Mia is Ted Baker's brand new purse spray available from this month from Ted Baker, although I have heard will be released into Boots stores later this summer. The perfect addiction to the Sweet Treat range, this fragrance is another yummy, sassy scent that I feel will be gorgeous on summer nights. Although it is light enough to wear during the day too. As with Polly, the packaging is stylish, girly and looks fab on my dressing table and in my handbag/clutch for quick touch ups.
