Pregnancy | 32 weeks

Bump shot | As big as a squash | Bradley & I & Bump | 32 week bump shot

How far along?
32 weeks.

Size of baby?

Midwife measured me at 33 weeks this week. He's apparently the size of a squash according to pregnancy apps.

Any news this week?

I've been struggling quite a bit this week. Back ache, bump ache, mild SPD. Had my 32wk midwife appointment this week and she confirmed Ive torn my stomach muscles from the top of my bump down to my tummy button. I'm in agony. I've just been told to rest and take pain killers and if it gets any worse to go in. Just worried its only going to get worse as I get bigger these last few weeks. I've been in tears the last few days, its so so painful.
In other news, he's found his way head down finally. :)

Clothes?
I've still been living in New Look Maternity Leggings (£14.99 x2) with maternity vests.

Products?
I'm still moisturising daily with both Phytorelax Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream all over [as far as I'm aware you can only get this in the US, unless imported into stores such as TK Maxx which is where I picked it up from; £4.99] And moisturising my bump daily with Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10). I'm still reaching for my Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz (£3.12) to cool down my feet and face during hot sticky nights. I've also started to introduce Elastolabo Perineal Massage Gel (£17.49*) this week.

Symptoms:
Pain from torn stomach muscles, back ache, slight acid reflux/heartburn, tiredness. etc.

Sleep:
Had one bad night this week where I couldn't seem to sleep at all! The majority of the week I've been sleeping well and still sleeping on top of the covers every night, wrapped around my Argos Sleep Pillow (£11.99).

Missing anything?
Whippy ice cream - on the way home from the hospital once I've had baby, a trip thru McDs drive thru to order 10 caramel sundaes is in order, haha!!

Movement:
Lots of strong movements. Did you see my video on my Instagram this week?? He was having a right party in there!! :)

Any purchases?:
Nothing new this week.

Best moment this week:
Midwife appointment going well.

Worst moment this week:
The pain of torn stomach muscles.

Food cravings:
I still can't get enough cereal and ice lollies at the moment!! I can't imagine how many ice lollies and ice poles I get through a day!!

Anything making you queasy or sick:

No.

Belly Button in or out?

It's at the surface, so haven't really got an inny or an outy right now :)

Mood:

Really tired.

Looking forward to:

My next midwife appointment in 2 weeks. The delivery of my Mamas & Papas
furniture.

Can't believe I'm now 33 weeks, 7 weeks to go!!

Beauty | Limited Edition MAC Haul

So I've had a cheeky little MAC haul as a treat to myself as I've been feeling so rubbish about the way I look lately. I'm coming towards the end of my pregnancy and feeling as though I resemble an elephant. :(
I'm getting really uncomfortable & out of breath, with no energy, suffering with back ache, bump ache and SPD and feeling a bit sorry for myself.
So I thought I'd treat myself to a few bits from MAC.
I was a little bit naughty though and didn't purchase any essentials. I'm a bit of a sucker for a limited edition collection and some of the most recent ones have been fantastic. I LOVE the Osbourne's collections and have been waiting so long for the UK release of the Playland range! So, as it was simply a treat to cheer myself up, I thought I'd go BRIGHT and pick up some of the limited eds! :)

Let me show you what I went for...

MAC Playland Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour in For Your Amusement (£18.00)

I loved the look of the Playland collection and couldn't wait for it to be released here in the UK. It looks so bright and fun with its fab, playful colours. I chose a creamy lip and cheek colour, which is similar to a cream colour base but a lot more creamier, in For Your Amusement which is a bright pastel pink. It looks gorgeous on the lips, almost like a tinted lip balm, and the cream formula is really light and blend able on the cheeks for a cute, light pink tint, a lush highlighter that gives a lovely healthy glow when used alone, and a fab partnership on top of a pink blush for added sheen. Super cute!

Next up...

MAC Playland Lip Glass in Bright Side (£14.00)

Also from the Playland range, I picked up the bright yellow lip glass! I originally wanted to try the lipstick but it was out of stock so I settled on the lip glass instead. Isn't it such a fab colour? It makes me think of sunshine and sweets!! :)

On application it looks creamy yellow / nude. I guess it is almost a clear gloss, but it definitely has a creamy yellow finish to it. It works great with a bright lip liner, or in the centre of the lips after lipstick, but the images below show you the gloss alone on natural lips.

And from the Osbourne range...

MAC Kelly Osbourne Kelly Lipstick in Dodgy Girl (£16.50)

There was a lot I had my eye on from both the Kelly & Sharon collections, but unfortunately they sold out pretty quickly and there wasn't much of the collection left. Every one of the Kelly lipsticks were sold out, except this one; Dodgy Girl, which is a bright lavender shade in matte consistency. I'd never normally go for this colour, but sticking to the bright theme I thought I'd give it a try, why not? I need to be a bit more experimental with my make up and step away from the nudes!! :) I thought this would look gorgeous teamed with the Kitschmas pigment on the cheeks or eyes!
Look at how intense the colour is, isn't it gorgeous? It feels a lot more creamier than other matte lipsticks. I love the colour, and think it'll look fab for a splash of colour over the summer. Well done Miss Osbourne! :)

And lastly...

MAC Travel Size Sized To Go Fix + (£8.00)

Okay so I know this isn't from a limited edition range, but I love MAC's Fix+ for setting my make up and making my skin feel freshened up at the same time. I love the Sized To Go products, for trying out new products, for popping in my make up bag when travelling and just a cheaper way to top up on my favourite products, and at £8 I thought I'd pick up a Fix+ whilst I was at it :) I love the fresh smell of it and the staying power of my make up after a quick spritz of vitamins and minerals! :)

L-R: Playland For Your Amusement Cheek & Lip Colour, Kelly Osbourne Dodgy Girl Lipstick, Playland Bright Side Lip Glass

What have you picked up from MAC's collections lately?

Pregnancy | Hospital Bags #2

This is the 2nd post of my Hospital Bags series. To catch up on the 1st, click here.

At 31 weeks, I've had to start thinking about preparing my hospital bags. They recommend you have your bags all packed ready before 36 weeks, just incase you need to go in unexpectedly. The last thing you want is to end up going in early and having nothing prepared!!

There are many recommended lists out there to help you put your bags together. And lots to think about. You may have a quick and easy birth and be home the same day, many mums stay in hospital for one night after birth or you may have to stay in for a little while, so it can be hard to work out what to take. You don't want to take too much, neither do you want to get there and realise you don't have something, so try to find a balance. It may also be a good idea to keep extras and spares in the car incase you need them.

Using all the research, tips and advice I'd gathered, I put together my own list to work from; including what you should pack for labour, essentials for afterwards, and what to pack for baby.

Check out the list here.

For my Hospital Bags series, I've been putting together 3 posts to show you the things in my hospital bags:
Hospital Bags #2 - Toiletries & other essentials
Hospital Bags #3 - Baby [clothes, essentials, feeding]

I'll also need to prepare a bag for Bradley as he'll need to be ready to go to my Mums at the drop of a hat when I go into labour.

So... Toiletries & other essentials

The majority of the toiletries I've packed in my bag are samples I've had at home. I haven't had to purchase much at all regarding toiletries.
Let me talk you through what I have...

Boots Maternity Pads (£1.05*) - I have 2 packs, my friend actually gave me these. They actually scare me and I'm quickly reminded of how things feel after birth... Let's move on!!

Soap & Glory Clean Girls Creamy Body Wash (Sample size* - full size £6.50) - I love this body wash, its so soft and creamy, so I've thrown in this sample sized bottle for my shower after birth.

Steam Cream (Sample sachets - full size £9.95) - Steam Cream is amazing stuff!! Using steam to fuse the ingredients together, the cream sinks past the skins surface super fast, leaving your skin feeling so soft and moisturised. I've thrown a couple of sachets in; maybe for my hands or anywhere else I need it.

BalanceMe Balancing Face Moisturiser (Sample size* - full size £24.00) - I've popped this sample size moisturiser in to freshen my face after my shower.

Cussons Mum & Me Cleanse & Protect Hand Gel (£1.45*) - Being in hospital, it's super important to make sure your hygiene levels are high, I always carry a bottle of hand gel in my handbag anyway, but I've thrown in this one I received in a goody bag for myself & James to use whilst in hospital.

Colgate Toothbrush (£1.00) - The pound shop is perfect to pick up a toothbrush for overnight stays in hospital.

Dove Silk Dry Roll On Deodorant (£2.30) - I always use Dove deodorant to keep me fresh and dry, so purchased this one for my hospital bag.

Lacura 3in1 Facial Cleansing Wipes (89p) - I don't use face wipes and begrudge using them, but for easy make up removal and to freshen up, they're ideal for my hospital bag, so I picked up a pack from Aldi, you can't go wrong for 89p, especially as I'll probably never use them again.

Andrex Washlets Toilet Tissue Wipes (£1.99) - I remember too well how it felt using the bathroom after giving birth, something I'm definitely NOT looking forward to. To make things a little easier, moist wet wipes can help, so I picked up a pack.

Colgate Total Toothpaste Travel Mini (£1.09) - I always pick up these travel size toothpastes for holidays or trips away so I often have a couple lying around, including this one, perfect for my hospital bag.

Bomb Cosmetics What A Melon Intense Lip Treatment (£2.49*) - As I mentioned in my list, lips can become dry during labour, particularly from the use of gas and air, so I grabbed a lip balm from my collection. I received this one in a blog meet goody bag and have yet to try it out but it promises to keep lips soft and hydrated.

TheBodyShop Vitamin E Face Mist (£8.00) - I've been using this a lot during these hot sticky nights, it instantly freshens my skin and cools me down, so I think will come in handy during labour.

TheBodyShop Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray (£6.00) - As with the face mist, I've been using this a lot to cool my feet down, I've been suffering with hot, achey feet during this part of my pregnancy, so again it may help cool my feet down if needed during labour.

Robinsons Healthcare Breast Pads (£2.49) - No explanation needed really :)

Books & Magazines - just incase theres any waiting around for things to happen.

I will also be popping in some drinks and snacks nearer the time.

Is there anything you think I'm missing??

Pregnancy | 31 weeks

31 week bump | HD Live scan | HD Live scan | Packing my toiletry bag for hospital

How far along?
31 weeks.

Size of baby?

He's estimated to weigh about 4lbs, although just an estimation. I've noticed a big difference in the shape of my bump this week, it's definitely shooting forward.

Any news this week?

We went to see our little man during a HD Live scan at Miracle In Progress this week. It's the 3rd time we'd been, we really like it there. The staff are so friendly and it's such a lovely, relaxing little place; celebrities from all over the country visit. It was amazing seeing him so clearly on the screen, he's going to be a little chunky monkey I think. An overwhelming experience seeing him moving around and yawning. :)
I also started sorting more of the baby bits out this week; arranging the bath box and nappy box, making room in kitchen cupboards for feeding equipment, packing my toiletries bag for hospital [blog post coming soon] and even started washing some baby clothes!!
This week, I'm starting to get more annoyed with everyone telling me how MASSIVE I am. Yes I'm aware how big I am, I'm carrying it!! :) Even today a girl I hadn't spoke to in a while stopped me in the street 'You can't have long left, you're MASSIVE!!' Um thanks, I still have 8 weeks left...

Clothes?
I've been living in New Look Maternity Leggings (£14.99 x2) with maternity vests. I wore my Blooming Marvellous Maxi Dress from Mothercare (£30.00) for my Grandad's funeral this week too.

Products?
This week I've continued to moisturise daily with both Phytorelax Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream [as far as I'm aware you can only get this in the US, unless imported into stores such as TK Maxx which is where I picked it up from; £4.99] And of course my faithful, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10).  I've also kept my bottle of Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz (£3.12) next to my bed as I'm really suffering with hot feet and needing to cool both my feet and face down at night times!!

Symptoms:
I've got it all now! Bad back ache, bump ache, feeling REALLY tired this week, starting to walk with a waddle, constant leg cramps, heartburn, acid reflux and generally feeling really heavy and uncomfortable.

Sleep:
Still sleeping well, probably due to being so tired! Still sleeping on top of the covers every night, wrapped around my Argos Sleep Pillow (£11.99).

Missing anything?
Having energy, being able to do normal things. All worth it though! :)

Movement:
Oh wow, he's got some strong limbs on him. As he's getting so big I'm feeling his strong movements constantly.

Any purchases?:
Nothing new this week.

Best moment this week:
The amazing HD scan.

Worst moment this week:
My Grandad's funeral.

32 week midwife appointment this week.

Can't believe I'm now 32 weeks, 8 weeks to go!!

Beauty | Summer Fragrances

As Summer is upon us, I decided to share with you my favourite fragrances I'll be reaching for this season.

For me, a perfect summer fragrance has to be light, sweet, perfect for both hot summer days and warm summer nights.

Ted Baker Sweet Treat Purse Spray - Polly (£10.00-£15.00*) - 'This sweet floral aroma begins with juicy tones of mandarin, red berries and peach whilst the heart entwines white jasmine, honeysuckle and peony with shades of vanilla, amber, patchouli and white musk in the base.'

These purse sprays are fab, the perfect size to pop into my handbag or even a beach bag. I love how girly and sweet it smells; it mixes sweet and fruity tones with a little musk to make it a little more grown up. I can't stop wearing this, it really is delicious!! I love getting a whiff of it throughout the day and knowing I smell yummy!! :) Perfect for girly girls with a bit of a sweet tooth! I think it's a perfect fragrance for both summer days and nights!

Stella McCartney Stella Summer EDT Spray (£33.99*) - 'Stella McCartney Stella Summer 2013 features top notes of Frozen Lemon and Green Apple, Rose and Peony Middle notes and Amber.'

This fragrance was released last summer and I heard so many good things about it, I popped it on my wish list and my boyfriend bought it for me for Christmas :). Ive been waiting excitedly for summer to wear it!!
The packaging is bright and summery and makes me reach for it when the sunshine is shining first thing in the morning. It is a light, fresh scent that is a perfect daytime perfume. A more floral-y fragrance, it makes me think of summer days outside, picnics and days out in the park.

Ted Baker Sweet Treat Purse Spray - Mia (£15.00) - 'A soft floral fragrance of rose blooms and freesias are combined with sparkling top notes of fresh lemon, raspberry and blackcurrant with a seductive base of warm patchouli and golden amber.'

Mia is Ted Baker's brand new purse spray available from this month from Ted Baker, although I have heard will be released into Boots stores later this summer. The perfect addiction to the Sweet Treat range, this fragrance is another yummy, sassy scent that I feel will be gorgeous on summer nights. Although it is light enough to wear during the day too. As with Polly, the packaging is stylish, girly and looks fab on my dressing table and in my handbag/clutch for quick touch ups.

Which fragrances will you be reaching for this summer?

Beauty | On the hunt for the perfect eyeliner

Part of my every day makeup routine includes a slick of top liner. It finishes off my eyes perfectly. My favourite kind of liner is a chunky felt tip style liner and I fell in love with the Be A Bombshell Eyeliner in Onyx ($14.00*) I received in a beauty box last year, it was most definitely the best liner I had used. So I was gutted when I realised I couldn't get it shipped from America and couldn't find anywhere I could purchase it from.

So, I went on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner.

I purchased 4 eyeliners, and put them to the test.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner (£5.49) - I love the idea behind this, it is a small felt tip liner with a slanted nib to draw a thick or a thin line depending on how you hold it, and with a bit of practise if you slant it right, you get the most perfect cat eye flick. That said, it was pretty tricky to get a perfect line and the felt tip nip was quite dry which meant I had to go over, and often drag the nib, which isn't great. And it seemed to dry out really quickly, as you can see in the pictures.

Bourjois Intuitive Liner (£6.99) - The idea behind this liner is with the 3 point felt tip style nib,  is if you tap the nib across the lash line, in a dotting motion, creates fine, intense line. I find that applying it on a slant, it creates the most perfect cat eye flick and you can easily play around with thick or thin lines with the perfect soft felt tip style nib. Again the line on paper doesn't do it justice as I was rushing, but take my word for it, it's my favourite eyeliner nib since the Be A Bombshell :)

MAC Superslick Liquid Eyeliner in On The Hunt (£17.00) - I've used this for a while, in a few different shades. It is really easy to apply and with a sturdy, yet flexible thin nib it creates a good line and flick. It dries fast and lasts all day. But, being water based, even the blackest shade is never black enough for me, more grey, as the image shows.

Seventeen Semi Permanent Tattoo Me Liquid Eyeliner (£4.99) - I'd heard great things about this liner, eyeliner that won't smudge, budge and lasts upto 48 hours [as if you would tho?!] and I'll admit, once it's on, it's not going anywhere. It is the ultimate waterproof liner. And it's super super black, which is a big plus for me! It does take a while to dry as the consistency is quite thick and on the brush quite gloopy. And with a small flexible brush, rather than a felt tip style nib which I prefer, application is a little trickier and can be a bit messy; which isn't fun when it's so tough to remove.

Overall, my favourite from these 4 is definitely the Bourjois Intuitive Liner. I love the different looks you can create with this liner, thick or thin lines. The application is super smooth and easy, lasts all day with no fading and is a gorgeous, intense black shade. It's my perfect turn to liner for an every day look or a more dramatic line. And at £6.99 it won't break the bank.

Do you have a favourite eyeliner you think I should try??

Pregnancy | 30 weeks

30 week bump  |  Practising putting up the pushchair  |  Hospital bag essentials  |  Bump selfie

How far along?
30 weeks.

Size of baby?

Baby is apparently measuring approx. the length of a pineapple. Although my little hippo is probably a lot bigger :)

Any news this week?

I'm getting huge. People are shocked when I tell them I'm only 30 weeks, I look like I'm ready to pop any minute! I'm starting to struggle quite a bit now; backache & bump ache are awful especially come halfway through the day. I'm getting really tired too. I've had quite a busy week, as sadly I lost  my Grandad on Monday; I've spent a lot of time with my Mum and keeping her busy as she isn't doing very well. So by the end of the day I'm exhausted! I'm unsure if he's still breech as movements have felt a little different the last day or so, but we shall see.

Clothes?
My New Look Maternity Leggings (£14.99 for 2) have been a god send, I've wore them with vest tops most of the week. I've tried to feel a bit more summery by wearing my AX Paris Floral Printed maxi dress (£30.00) and popping some flowers into wavy hair too. :)

Products?
This week I've continued to moisturise daily with both Phytorelax Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream [as far as I'm aware you can only get this in the US, unless imported into stores such as TK Maxx which is where I picked it up from; £4.99] And of course my faithful, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10*).  I've also been reaching for TheBodyShop's Vitamin E Face Mist (£8.00) & Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray (£6.00) at night times to cool myself down as it's been too hot!

Symptoms:
Bad back ache. Bump ache. A few times I've had awful stitch like pain when I've been walking. Also Braxton Hicks are starting to become a pain, quite literally!!!

Sleep:
This week I've been completely out for the count! As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm gone!! I normally hear every move and noise James makes, but I haven't even been aware of him coming to bed or getting up in the morning. Ive slept on top of the covers every night, wrapped around my Argos Sleep Pillow (£11.99) and have actually rarely been waking in the night for the loo; pretty sure that won't last long!! :)

Missing anything?
Wearing nice summer clothes. Being slim? lol.

Movement:
Still lots of strong movements.

Any purchases?:
A couple of necessities for my hospital bag.

Best moment this week:
Feeling and seeing him move lots.

Worst moment this week:
Losing my Grandad. :(

Food cravings:
I'm practically living on cereal and ice lollies at the moment!! It's all I want, constantly!

Anything making you queasy or sick:

No.

Belly Button in or out?

It's out; well at the surface. It's quite painful though as it's stretching my scar from my keyhole surgery.

Mood:

Tired. A little fed up due to the hot weather and uncomfortableness.

Looking forward to:

Our HD Live scan on Monday!!

Can't believe I'm now 31 weeks, 9 weeks to go!!

Pregnancy | Hospital Bags #1

So, now I've hit the 30 week mark it's time I started thinking about preparing my hospital bags.

I've put together this list, that I've been working from, feel free to personalise it for yourself.

What should you pack for labour?
Maternity notes / Birth plan
Mobile phone & Charger
Dressing gown
[a lightweight dressing gown is helpful in early labour or after birth]
Slippers or Socks
[feet can often get cold during labour]
Labour clothes
[to give birth in; remember it will probably get messy, so something you won't wear again. usually a nightdress, old tshirt or big comfy top, or vest tops/bikini top if planning a water birth]
Lip balm
[lips can dry out during labour, especially in a warm hospital or with the use of gas & air]
Snacks & Drinks
[for both you and your birth partner, you'll need to keep your energy levels up and hospital vending machines can be expensive; isotonic drinks and cereal bars are a good idea]
Books/Magazines/iPad
[things to help pass the time, help you relax, entertain you during a long labour]
Hairbands
[you'll probably want your hair tied back out of your face]
Water spray / Face mist
[to cool you down in labour, a moisturising face mist keeps your skin moisturised as well as to freshen up]

What should I pack for after?
Pyjamas or Nightshirt
[comfy clothes for after birth and overnight stays in hospital, preferably with front opening for easy feeding]
Nursing bras
Breast pads
Maternity pads
[you'll need a couple of packs]
Toiletries
[travel size are probably best; toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, moisturiser, unperfumed shower gel. etc]
Towel
[for shower after birth, preferably a dark one as may get messy]
Knickers
[old, cheap or disposable; the stretchier and comfier the better]
Tissues/Wet wipes
[moist, unfragranced wipes are sometimes best to use after birth]
Going home clothes
[loose, comfortable clothing; maybe still maternity wear]
Makeup

What should I pack for baby?
Bodysuits/Vests
[approx. 3; preferably in a couple of sizes to be sure]
Sleepsuits
[as above]
Blankets
[maybe a couple, a cellular & warmer blanket for wrapping baby up]
Nappies & Cotton wool balls
[in newborn size, a newborn will probably need changing approx 10 times a day, so take enough, you can always get OH to grab some more if you need to stay in. Cotton wool & water is recommended for newborns]
Muslin squares
[for feeding/burping]
Socks/Booties
Scratch mittens
[to prevent scratches]
Bottles/Formula
[if planning to bottle feed]
Hat
Going home outfit
Car seat
[make sure you've had a little practise getting it in and out of the car before hand]

I'm going to put together 3 posts to show you the things in my hospital bags:
Hospital Bags #1 - Clothes [for during and after labour]
Hospital Bags #2 - Toiletries & other essentials
Hospital Bags #3 - Baby [clothes, essentials, feeding]

I'll also need to prepare a bag for Bradley as he'll need to be ready to go to my Mums at the drop of a hat when I go into labour.

So... Clothes [for during and after labour]

James & I had a little trip into town last week to pick up some bits for my hospital bags. We decided that since I hadn't got a lot of what was needed to hand, the best place was probably Primark.
I knew I'd be able to pick up the majority of what I needed in there super cheap so it doesn't matter if they get ruined, messy, or are only worn the once, or a few times. And some things I'd be able to use afterwards too.
Let me talk you through what I picked up...

(L-R Top-Bottom)

Rolling Stones stretchy lounge pants (£8.00) - for after birth, comfy PJ bottoms in a bigger size, for on the ward and maybe even at home afterwards.

Leopard print canvas bag (£1.50) - ideal for putting hospital bag essentials in.

2x lounge vest tops (£3.50 each) - comfy PJ vest tops in a bigger size, for on the ward and maybe even at home afterwards, in cream and grey, to go with the lounge pants. They also have easy access buttons at the top for easy feeding.

Minnie Mouse Vest/Pants set (£6.00) - I'm hoping for a water birth, so have bought these to maybe wear in the pool or just to stay cool in labour, I thought they were ideal. If not, I can always wear them for bed at home.

Leopard print slipper socks (£2.50) - I love slipper socks from Primark! I practically live in them at home. So I picked up a pair for my hospital bag to wear if my feet get cold in labour, or for on the ward afterwards.

2x packs of stretchy, high leg knickers (£4.50 each) - disposable knickers are nasty things, so I bought some cheap but comfy knickers that can be thrown away after use. I bought them in size 'mahoosive' lol.

Minnie Mouse Vest/Pants set (£5.00) - another vest/pants set to wear in water pool, during labour, or at home.

Rolling Stones canvas bag (£3.00) - bigger bag for hospital bag essentials.

Polka dot cropped lounge pants (£5.00) - another pair of comfy PJ bottoms to wear after birth, on ward or at home.

Leopard print towel (£6.00) - I can't actually fit a normal size bath towel around my bump anymore, so I picked up this beach towel. It is fluffy, comfy and would be ideal if I was to have a water birth, or even to lie on during labour and I can use this after a shower, and can be thrown away if messy.

I'll pop in some comfy clothes, probably a pair of maternity leggings and vest top to come home in, and also a large tshirt/nightdress for if I'm not able to have a water birth. And a dressing gown too. Other than that, I think I'm pretty much organised for clothes.

Eeek!!

Is there anything you think I'm missing??
