Liebster Award

Hey lovelies!!

Well yesterday I received my first Liebster Award. Yay me!!

What is the Liebster Award?
The Liebster Award is given to new, up and coming blogs who have less than 200 followers. Awards like these are a fantastic way to spread the word about new blogs who may be struggling to make their name amongst other blogs.
Liebster is German for dearest, kindest, sweetest, lovely, valued, endearing and welcome. Sweet, huh?
We all know that blogging is all about sharing, connecting and building a community. And these kind of awards are a great way to help promote smaller blogs, and to get to know the person behind the blog.

The Rules...
1. Show your appreciation by linking back to the person who nominated you.
2. List 11 facts about yourself.
3. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the person who nominated you.
4. Nominate another 11 blogs, preferably with less than 200 followers, to pass the award on to.

11 Facts About Me...
1. I'm 29 years old. Still look about 19, and am terrified about turning 30.
2. I have a little boy, Bradley. He's 9, going on 13 and doesn't stop talking, like ever.
3. I'm an Aquarius. BUT I don't fit in with any of the Aquarian traits whatsoever. I was meant to be born a Capricorn, but was late, so I reckon I'm meant to be a Capricorn. ;)
4. I have an unhealthy addiction to Lucozade. I'm currently trying to wean myself of it. My boyfriend has banned me from it. :\
5. I want to learn another language. My boyfriend is half Italian so probably Italian.
6. I have recently qualified in Child Psychology at level 4. 
7. I love nothing more than snuggly nights in with my boyfriend watching movies and our favourite TV programmes.
8. As a teenager I dyed my hair every colour you can think of.. Black, Blonde, Red, Plum..
9. I love London, it's an amazing city I'll never get tired of visiting. 
10. My favourite shops are MAC, Paperchase, Boots & The Body Shop. It's a big thing if I manage to walk past any one of those without going in! :)
11. I'm a sucker for quotes, and scour Pinterest for hours to find good ones.

11 Questions...


1. What made you start blogging?
My blog is my little piece of the web, where I can write and share things. I'm quite an open person and I love sharing experiences and opinions, so this is my way of doing that. I really enjoy it, it keeps me busy and I've already met some really nice people through it.


2. What's your ideal holiday destination?
Anywhere hot, and pretty. Although my little paradise island is the Isle of Wight, it holds such amazing memories for me. When its gorgeous weather, it's just perfect!!

3. Who is your style inspiration?
I don't have a style inspiration tbh, I know what I like, and I wear what I like. I'm a bit of TopShop, to Boohoo, to All Saints. 

4. Answer the door in a PJs with full face of make up, or dressed and no make up?
Never EVER answer the door unless I have a full face of make up. So PJs with make up, definitely!!

5. Favourite beauty product? 
MAC Studio Tech.

6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Hopefully living a happy, family orientated life. Nice family home, 2 children, nice amount of money coming in, healthy balance between work and play. Perfect.

7. TOWIE or MIC?
Ah I love them both! I can't choose. 

8. What's your favourite item of clothing?
Oh erm.. I really don't know.. I don't think I have a 'favourite'. That's boring isn't it? :\

9. Are you a morning or night person?
Hmm maybe night.

10. Favourite all time book? 
I've read that many books I don't keep favourites for long.

11. What's your favourite nail polish colour?
I love a nude colour as an all rounder!
